Once described as an electro beat poetry group, Lavanter blend electro-style beats, samples, guitar and rhythmic vocals to tell their stories with musical variety and curiosity. Citing bands like Massive Attack among their influences, Lavanter aim to create different soundscapes and themes for each song, all centered around the unique vocal style of Italian born Noemi. Guitar and drums are provided by Scottish musicians David and Darren, who use their experience playing many different styles of music and a good dose of samples to generate interest within the songs.
